The Science Behind SolariCBD

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid that can be found naturally in the hemp plant. CBD products can come in a variety of forms, including oil, topicals, capsules, gummies, and plenty more. At Solari, our CBD products are a mix of topical products like gels and creams, as well as broad-spectrum CBD oils and gummies.

How should I take CBD?

The best way to get therapeutic use out of CBD products depends on their form. CBD can come as an oil, topical, capsule, gummy, and even in cosmetic products. Hemp seed oil and CBD extracts can be taken safely in a number of ways, typically involving a dropper. CBD tinctures may be taken sublingually, meaning that you hold the proper dose under your tongue until it's absorbed into the bloodstream. You can also mix the right amount of CBD into your favorite beverages, such as a morning smoothie if you don't enjoy the taste of the CBD oil.

CBD topicals are even simpler to use. Simply coat the affected area with CBD roll-on gel or relief cream, and rub it into your skin to help with joint and muscle soreness or muscle spasticity. The main thing to remember when trying a CBD product for the first time is to find the proper dosage for you.

What is the CBD experience?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid that occurs naturally in the cannabis plant. It's the second most active ingredient present in the hemp plant after its well-known cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). While THC is known to produce psychoactive effects (or make you "high"), CBD oil and other CBD products aren't known to cause such psychoactive effects or intoxication. While it's natural to be concerned with the legality of products derived from hemp, the use of CBD is currently legal at the federal level, thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, which updated federal law to legalize industrial hemp products.
